Omeo and the surrounding communities of Magwi County, South Sudan face exactly the challenges our charitable purpose exists to address: unreliable access to clean water, thin health infrastructure, and limited educational opportunity. It's also a community our founding board has direct ties to — which is why it's where we're choosing to start, rather than where it would simply be easiest.
