Our Programs
Six core goals guide our charitable purpose, as filed in our Articles of Incorporation — each one designed to reinforce the others as we build toward our first programs in Omeo and other underserved communities in South Sudan.
Clean Water & WASH
Nationally, an estimated 59% of people in South Sudan lack access to safe water, and only 10% have access to improved sanitation (UNICEF). Our core goal: expand access to safe water and strengthen sanitation and hygiene systems that reduce preventable illness. Per our Articles of Incorporation, our charitable purposes include improving access to safe and clean water in underserved communities, and supporting water, sanitation, and hygiene programs and infrastructure.
- ✅ Community water point construction and rehabilitation
- ✅ Hygiene and sanitation education for households and schools
- ✅ Water committee training for long-term upkeep
- ✅ WASH needs assessments to prioritize the highest-need areas
Humanitarian & Essential Assistance
Our core goal: provide timely food, household, hygiene, sanitary, and personal-care support to people facing poverty, displacement, disaster, or hardship. Per our Articles of Incorporation, this means supporting vulnerable children, women, elderly persons, families, and other individuals experiencing poverty or humanitarian hardship.

Our approach in four steps
1. Listen
Village leadership and residents identify their own priorities through open community meetings.
2. Co-design
We build a program plan jointly with local committees, including who owns what long-term.
3. Deliver
Programs launch with local staff and volunteers leading day-to-day implementation.
4. Measure & hand off
We track outcomes publicly and transition full ownership to the community as it's ready.
